About the Role

The Chief Practice and Technology Officer will be responsible for the strategic oversight and management of the firm's engineering practices, technological systems, innovation, quality, and continuous improvement efforts. This role combines leadership in engineering methodologies and operational technological advancements to drive efficiency and excellence across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive technology and practice strategy aligned with the firm's goals
  • Spearhead the alignment of our firm's technological resources, expertise, and practices with our strategic goals
  • Develop, implement, and continually improve practice standards to enhance service delivery, client satisfaction, and business performance
  • Ensure practice areas meet industry standards and comply with regulations
  • Integrate advanced technology and software into engineering to boost efficiency, innovation, and quality, speed of delivery, and quality of deliverables
  • Foster a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and professional development within our teams, across all regions, and practices
  • Lead the adoption of new technologies and methods
  • Establish and manage an innovation portfolio
  • Build partnerships with external organizations
  • Design and implement educational strategies aligned with BBA's strategic goals, and partner with universities, educational consultants, and industry experts to develop curriculums
  • Manage internal and external training programs
  • Ensure client satisfaction
  • Manage quality systems
  • Implement a zero-cost overhead structure for the firm, while tools, software, training, and expertise are billed to our clients
  • Collaborate with other senior executives to align best practice goals with overall business objectives
  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of initiatives
  • Report on progress and outcomes to the executive team and board of directors
