The Role

We are seeking a skilled Machine Operator to join our Industrial team. As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for operating various production machines, assisting in routine equipment maintenance and change overs, performing sanitation procedures, and maintaining quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supply and operate various production machines
  • Assist in routine equipment maintenance and change overs
  • Perform sanitation procedures
  • Maintain quality standards by performing quality checks
  • Troubleshoot packaging equipment components
  • Work safely and follow all in-place policies and procedures

Requirements

  • OSSD diploma or equivalent and successful passing of basic qualification testing
  • Ability to safely perform physical work, including pushing, pulling, and lifting to 50lbs repetitively
  • Ability to work overtime and in a fast-paced environment
  • Possess strong attention to detail and the ability to accurately complete paperwork and data input in a fast-paced environment
  • Relevant mechanical experience, experience with operating automatic and semi-automatic filling and packaging equipment, and SAP knowledge would be considered an asset
