Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Machine Operator to join our production team. As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various production machines, ensuring that they are running efficiently and effectively. You will also be responsible for performing routine equipment maintenance, generating and tracking production statistics, and maintaining quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate and maintain production machines to ensure efficient and effective production
  • Perform routine equipment maintenance to prevent downtime and ensure optimal performance
  • Generate and track production statistics to monitor and improve production efficiency
  • Maintain quality standards by performing quality checks and troubleshooting packaging equipment components
  • Work safely and follow all in-place policies and procedures

Requirements

  • OSSD diploma or equivalent and successful passing of basic qualification testing
  • Ability to safely perform physical work, including pushing, pulling, and lifting to 50lbs repetitively
  • Ability to work overtime and in a fast-paced environment
  • Possess strong attention to detail and the ability to accurately complete paperwork and data input in a fast-paced environment
  • Relevant mechanical experience, experience with operating automatic and semi-automatic filling and packaging equipment, and SAP knowledge would be considered an asset
