Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Machine Operator to join our team at McCormick Canada. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various production machines, ensuring high-quality products and efficient production processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain production equipment, including automatic and semi-automatic filling and packaging machines
  • Assist in routine equipment maintenance and changeovers, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal production efficiency
  • Perform sanitation procedures to maintain a clean and safe working environment
  • Assist in generating and tracking production statistics, including quality control and production metrics
  • Maintain quality standards by performing quality checks and troubleshooting packaging equipment components
  • Work safely and follow all in-place policies and procedures, adhering to company safety protocols
Requirements
  • OSSD diploma or equivalent and successful passing of basic qualification testing
  • Ability to safely perform physical work, including pushing, pulling, and lifting to 50lbs repetitively
  • Ability to work overtime and in a fast-paced environment
  • Possess strong attention to detail and the ability to accurately complete paperwork and data input in a fast-paced environment
  • Relevant mechanical experience, experience with operating automatic and semi-automatic filling and packaging equipment, and SAP knowledge would be considered an asset
