About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Educator to join our team at Kit and Ace. As an Educator, you will play a critical role in providing our guests with a world-class experience in the areas of product and culture.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver Exceptional Customer Service: Create a memorable experience for our guests by educating them about our culture, brand, and product.
  • Communicate Effectively: Successfully communicate special features, benefits, fabric properties, usage, and best care instructions to our guests.
  • Drive Sales: Contribute to the achievement of daily shop sales targets by providing excellent customer service and promoting our products.
  • Prepare the Store for Success: Replenish garment styles, fold, size, merch, and dress mannequins to ensure a visually appealing store environment.
  • Maintain a Clean and Organized Store: Actively maintain shop appearance, keeping merchandise stocked and organized, while ensuring that the showroom is clean and well presented.
  • Process Stock and Merchandise: Receive and process stock from the warehouse, including unpacking, counting, tagging, folding, sizing, and placing on the floor.
  • Support Sales and Pricing Duties: Assist with re-stocking and pricing duties, including sale and holiday preparation as required.
  • Maintain Fitting Rooms and Returns: Prepare merchandise for tailoring/alteration as may be required, and maintain, clean, and run fitting rooms, returning product to the appropriate area.
  • Process Transactions and Provide Excellent Service: Utilize the Point of Sale system accurately, process payments, refunds, and exchanges, and issue gift cards.
  • Participate in Staff Training and Events: Participate in staff training and shop events as scheduled, and support additional duties as directed by the management team.

Requirements:

  • Previous Retail Experience: Previous retail experience is preferred.
  • Passion for Customer Service: Passion to deliver premier customer service and driven to exceed customer expectations.
  • Strong Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to perceive customer needs and handle difficult customer-facing conversations.
  • Flexibility and Availability: Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, evenings, holidays, and special events.

Reports to: Shop Director

Works Closely with: Retail Operations, Information Technology, and Brand
