Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Store Supervisor to join our team at JAI PUSHPA AND CHRIS HOLDINGS LTD. as a key member of our retail operations team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Lead Staff: Oversee and manage a team of 3-4 staff members, providing guidance, support, and coaching to ensure excellent customer service and sales performance.
  • Assign Sales Workers to Duties: Effectively allocate tasks and responsibilities to sales staff to maximize productivity and efficiency.
  • Authorize Return of Merchandise: Process and manage returns, exchanges, and refunds in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Sell Merchandise: Provide exceptional customer service, respond to customer inquiries, and make sales to meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Prepare Reports: Compile and analyze sales data, merchandising reports, and personnel matters to inform business decisions.
  • Resolve Issues: Address customer complaints, supply shortages, and other issues that may arise, demonstrating excellent problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
  • Organize and Maintain Inventory: Ensure accurate and efficient inventory management, including receiving, stocking, and maintaining merchandise.
  • Supervise and Coordinate Activities: Oversee and coordinate the activities of sales staff, ensuring seamless operations and excellent customer service.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Work Setting: Retail business environment.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a retail supervisory role.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
