Assistant Store Manager Role

As an Assistant Store Manager at Kent Building Supplies, you will be responsible for all operations throughout the store, including maintaining safety standards, delivering financial results, merchandising, providing a first-class customer service experience, and developing your team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain a safe and healthy work environment for employees and customers
  • Deliver financial results by managing inventory, controlling costs, and driving sales growth
  • Develop and implement effective merchandising strategies to drive sales and customer engagement
  • Provide exceptional customer service by ensuring a positive shopping experience and resolving customer complaints in a timely and professional manner
  • Develop and lead a high-performing team by providing coaching, training, and development opportunities
Requirements:
  • 5 years of retail management experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends
