Job Summary

Crown Property Management Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Senior Property Accounting Manager to oversee and manage the property accounting team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and property management, with excellent leadership and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Reporting
    • Ensure timely and accurate delivery of monthly financial reports to stakeholders
    • Review and analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement
  • Team Management
    • Supervise and mentor junior accountants to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties
    • Develop and implement training programs to enhance team performance
  • Accounting Operations
    • Oversee the accounting process, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger
    • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements
  • Business Development
    • Collaborate with the property management team to identify opportunities for cost savings and revenue growth
    • Develop and implement strategies to improve financial performance
Requirements
  • Education
    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
    • Professional accounting designation (CPA)
  • Experience
    • 5-10 years of experience in property accounting, with a minimum of 3 years in a leadership role
    • Excellent knowledge of accounting principles and practices
  • Skills
    • Strong leadership and communication skills
    • Ability to analyze complex financial data and make informed decisions
    • Proficient in accounting software and systems
