Job Overview

Are you passionate about conceptualizing and designing immersive environments? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you. We are seeking a Location Design Supervisor to oversee the artistic creation of settings for our animated series.

As the Location Design Supervisor, your primary responsibility will be to guide the visual development and style of the locations featured in our productions.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Defining and upholding the visual aesthetic and quality of location designs.
  • Leading a talented team of Location Designers.
  • Offering constructive feedback, mentorship, and direction to ensure the design team aligns with the overall artistic vision.
  • Evaluating and approving final location designs to meet production timelines.
  • Collaborating closely with various departments to ensure the integration of location designs within the series.
  • Keeping abreast of industry trends and techniques to enhance the quality and creativity of location designs.
Qualifications

Essential Skills:

  • A degree in art, animation, or a related discipline.
  • Demonstrated experience as a Location Designer Supervisor within the animation sector.
  • Exceptional artistic and creative abilities with a strong attention to detail.
  • Outstanding communication and leadership skills to effectively manage and motivate a team of artists.
  • Familiarity with 2D animation principles and methodologies.
