Our Original Games unit pushes our creative limits, with our signature IPs, including the iconic Dead by Daylight. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on a AAA unannounced project on Unreal 5, utilizing your expertise to design and own missions from initial concept to shippable state.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and own missions, including the creation of new gameplay ingredients, encounters, and in-engine implementation;
  • Iterate upon mission design through feedback and playtesting, ensuring the desired player experience is met;
  • Create logic flows for missions through visual scripting and manage associated data;
  • Evolve mission design as it progresses through conception, ensuring design intentions are respected;
  • Establish and improve design conventions for mission goals, actions, pacing, etc.;
  • Support and review the work of junior teammates;
  • Create and present detailed design documents and associated requests;

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience in the game industry as a level/mission designer, particularly on AAA titles;
  • Previous experience in mission design on AAA projects;
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in French and/or English.
