Aramark Canada is seeking an experienced Service Coordinator to join our team. As a Service Coordinator, you will be responsible for leading, mentoring, and developing teams to maximize their contributions. This includes recruiting, assessing, training, coaching, and managing performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor teams to achieve operational excellence, including recruiting, assessing, training, coaching, and managing performance.
- Client and Customer Relationships: Develop and maintain effective client and customer rapport for mutually beneficial business relationships. Demonstrate excellent customer service using Aramark's standard model.
- Operational Management: Identify client needs and effectively communicate operational progress. Adopt Aramark processes and systems.
- Revenue and Budget Management: Build revenue and manage budget, including cost controls with regard to food, beverage, and labor.
- Compliance and Safety: Ensure full compliance with Operational Excellence fundamentals, including food and labor. Maintain a safe and healthy environment for clients, customers, and employees.
- Staff Development: Build and develop supervisory staff to become future leaders.
- Regulatory Compliance: Comply with all applicable policies, rules, and regulations, including but not limited to those relating to safety, health, wage, and hour.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor's degree level education highly preferred in an area of Food Service, Hospitality, Facilities, or Business Management.
- Experience: Meaningful experience in the service industry, contract services, or hospitality environment, including managing teams.
- Skills: Strong analytical, project planning, and financial management skills. Ability to communicate effectively with clients, customers, colleagues, and staff.
- Physical Demands: Must be able to stand for extended periods of time.
