Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team at the Winnipeg Regional Health Authority. As a Speech-Language Pathologist - Adult Services Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating and providing Speech-Language Pathology services to clients in facilities and communities within our region. In collaboration with the multidisciplinary team and external agencies, you will be primarily involved in assessment, intervention, planning, and implementing a program for the client, discharge planning, and follow-up of referred clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess and diagnose communication and swallowing disorders in adults
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address client needs
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care
  • Provide education and training to clients, family members, and healthcare professionals
  • Conduct videofluoroscopic swallowing studies (VFSS) and other assessments as needed

Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Active registration with the College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists of Manitoba
  • Eligible to practice and maintain licensure in Manitoba
  • Certifications by the Canadian Association of Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology preferred
