Job Summary

Sienna Senior Living is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Healthcare Support Specialist to join our team. As a critical member of our community, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional care and support to our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date resident records, adhering to policies and procedures, and legislative requirements.
  • Assist with medication administration, including BP monitoring, catheter care, and mobility exercises, as delegated or part of routine assistance with daily living.
  • Monitor resident well-being, ensuring their needs are met in accordance with our residence's policy.
  • Perform various tasks to support common area cleaning, laundry, and resident care assignments.
  • Complete all aspects of resident care as outlined in the personal service plan.
  • Respond promptly to resident call bells and door alarms, providing courteous service.
Requirements
  • Successful completion of a Care Aid certificate program.
  • Medication Certification.
  • Current First Aid/CPR training and experience with medication assistance.
  • Excellent command of the verbal and written English language skills.
  • Ability to work independently and/or as a member of a team.
  • Pass a Vulnerable Sector Check (applicable to Ontario applicants) and a Criminal Records Check (applicable to British Columbia applicants).
