Certified Nurse Practitioner Per Diem

We are seeking a highly skilled Certified Nurse Practitioner to join our team at McLean Hospital. As a Psychiatric Care Specialist, you will provide comprehensive psychiatric and medical assessments, case management, and psychopharmacological treatment to patients in an adult inpatient psychiatric setting.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct ongoing psychiatric and medical assessments to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Provide case management and coordination of care with interdisciplinary teams and community-based healthcare organizations
- Prescribe medications and order medication, as well as monitor non-psychiatric medical conditions and medications
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary clinical team to ensure safe and effective care
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare providers
- Current or imminent unrestricted national nurse practitioner board licensure with prescriptive authority
- Master's degree in Nursing from an accredited National League of Nursing graduate school
- Board certification as a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner (PMHNP)
- Minimum of 24 months experience in an adult inpatient psychiatric setting or related experience
- Experience in an Emergency Room is recommended
- Self-motivated individual with the ability to work independently and collaboratively with the interdisciplinary clinical team
- Strong organizational skills, ability to multitask, and flexibility to manage irregular or extended hours
- Ability to work proactively to address problems and collaborate with the multidisciplinary integrated team
- Basic computer skills to use electronic or online systems for communication, clinical, and administrative purposes
