McLean Hospital is seeking a skilled Certified Nurse Practitioner to provide psychiatric and medical assessments, case management, and psychopharmacological treatment in a dynamic and multidisciplinary environment.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct ongoing psychiatric and medical assessments, including psychopharmacological treatment and medication management.
- Provide case management and coordinate care with interdisciplinary teams and community-based healthcare organizations.
- Develop and implement treatment plans, including medication regimens and monitoring of non-psychiatric medical conditions.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and address complex patient needs.
- Current or imminent unrestricted national nurse practitioner board licensure with prescriptive authority.
- Master's degree in Nursing from an accredited National League of Nursing graduate school.
- Board certification as a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner (PMHNP).
- Minimum of 24 months experience in an adult inpatient psychiatric setting or related experience.
- Experience in an Emergency Room is recommended.
- Self-motivated individual with ability to work independently and collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with ability to multitask and prioritize tasks.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to interact effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
