We are seeking a skilled and compassionate **Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner** to join our team on a per diem basis for night shifts. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive psychiatric and medical care to patients in an inpatient setting.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough psychiatric and medical assessments of patients
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including medication management
  • Prescribe and monitor medications, ensuring patient safety and well-being
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide holistic care
  • Document patient encounters accurately and efficiently
  • Stay abreast of current best practices in psychiatric nursing
Qualifications:
  • Current or imminent unrestricted national nurse practitioner board licensure with prescriptive authority
  • Master's degree in Nursing from an accredited National League of Nursing graduate school
  • Board certification as a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner (PMHNP)
  • Minimum of 24 months experience in an adult inpatient psychiatric setting or related experience
  • Experience in an Emergency Room is highly recommended
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency in electronic medical records systems
