Position Overview: The Manufacturing Operations Coordinator plays a crucial role in assisting the manufacturing team with daily operational tasks that encompass both project-related and routine activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage inventory processes, ensuring proper storage and organization within the storeroom while maintaining optimal inventory levels.
  • Oversee the unloading, inspection, and documentation of all incoming shipments, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Coordinate the kitting of both electrical and mechanical components necessary for production builds.
  • Generate comprehensive reports to assess build capabilities and project statuses.
  • Handle the management and distribution of leftover materials from projects.
  • Arrange shipping logistics for cell deliveries, supplier shipments, and internal requests.
  • Conduct inventory management for items not managed by vendors, including ordering, tracking, and conducting cycle counts.
  • Address specific operational needs related to AGC.
  • Provide administrative support to the manufacturing team, including planning, scheduling, and reporting tasks.
  • Participate in project meetings as required.
  • Welcome visitors and manage general inquiries.
  • Maintain vendor-managed inventory and restocking processes as necessary.
  • Engage in special projects aimed at cost reduction, both initiated independently and assigned.
  • Process returns for incorrect or damaged items and coordinate outbound shipments.
  • Resolve discrepancies related to orders.
  • Produce and maintain all essential reports and documentation.
  • Act as the primary contact for facilities and external services.
  • Coordinate continuous improvement initiatives across operations.
  • Perform additional related duties as required.

Qualifications:

  • A college degree or relevant professional experience.
  • Experience in project management is advantageous.
  • Strong negotiation skills and mechanical aptitude are essential.
  • Proven ability to manage purchasing responsibilities effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, along with strong organizational capabilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with Questica, CMS, and ERP systems is a plus.
  • High attention to detail is required.
  • Prior experience in purchasing or project planning, preferably within the automotive sector supporting automation.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, across all organizational levels.
  • Demonstrated integrity, dependability, and a results-oriented mindset.
