Johnson Electric is seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Operations Coordinator to support our manufacturing team with daily operational activities related to project and non-project activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Receive and store inventory, maintaining an efficient storeroom and adhering to Min/Max inventory levels.
  • Unload, inspect, and receive inbound deliveries, managing documentation and records.
  • Kit project-level goods for build, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Generate reports on build capability and status.
  • Manage project leftovers and allocate resources effectively.
  • Coordinate shipping arrangements for cell delivery, supplier shipments, and plant requests.
  • Manage non-vendor managed items, including ordering, tracking, and transferring to and from projects.
  • Support manufacturing team at an administrative level, including planning, scheduling, and reports.
  • Attend project-based meetings and provide support as needed.
  • Maintain vendor-managed inventory and stocking levels.
  • Participate in special projects for cost reductions and process improvements.
  • Process incorrect or damaged items and coordinate outbound return shipments.
  • Deal with discrepancies and resolve issues promptly.
  • Produce and maintain required reports and documentation.
  • Serve as primary contact for facilities and outside services.
  • Coordinate continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
  • College graduate or relevant work experience.
  • Background in project management considered an asset.
  • Excellent negotiation skills and mechanical aptitude.
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate purchasing responsibilities.
  • Excellent communication skills and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office platform and knowledge of Questica, CMS, and ERP considered an asset.
  • High attention to detail and previous purchasing and/or project planning experience.
  • Able to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization.
  • High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results orientation.
