About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Compliance Advisor to join our Compliance Programs team at National Bank. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the Bank's compliance with regulations and providing support to compliance partners on regulatory compliance questions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support Partners: Provide guidance and support to partners on all activities related to the implementation of AML/ATF regulatory obligations, including correspondent banking requirements.
  • Collaborate with Team Members: Work closely with other members of the AML/ATF Program's team to apply AML/ATF across the organization.
  • Expertise and Leadership: Act as a specialist with stakeholders and management in decisions requiring expertise on the interpretation and application of AML/ATF requirements, demonstrating leadership and producing positions and guidelines pursuant to AML/ATF requirements.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: University degree related to the sector of activity and 6-10 years of relevant experience.
  • Regulatory Compliance Experience: Experience in regulatory compliance or risk management.
  • Leadership and Teamwork: Demonstrated leadership and ability to work in a team and with various stakeholders.
  • AML/ATF Knowledge: Knowledge and understanding of AML/ATF risks.
  • Analytical and Communication Skills: Strong analytical, writing, and communication skills.
