Sales Development Representative

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Development Representative to join our team at Wesco. As an Outside Sales Representative, you will be responsible for developing new business opportunities and building strong relationships with existing customers to drive sales growth and revenue.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve sales targets and expand customer relationships.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through prospecting, cold calling, and networking.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, understanding their business needs and providing solutions to meet those needs.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including sales support and marketing, to develop and execute sales plans and campaigns.
- Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and loyalty.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitor activity, and market conditions to inform sales strategies and tactics.
- Meet or exceed sales targets, while maintaining a high level of professionalism and integrity.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent required; prior sales experience preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers and colleagues.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of energy and motivation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with experience in sales management tools a plus.
Working Environment:
This is a field-based sales role, requiring frequent travel to customer sites and occasional overnight stays. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, with a strong ability to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities.
