Sales Development Representative

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Development Representative to join our team at Wesco. As an Outside Sales Representative, you will be responsible for developing new business opportunities and building strong relationships with existing customers to drive sales growth and revenue.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve sales targets and expand customer relationships.
- Prospect and qualify new business leads through cold calling, referrals, and other sales channels.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, understanding their business needs and providing tailored solutions to meet those needs.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including sales support teams and suppliers, to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
- Develop and deliver sales presentations, proposals, and pitches to customers and prospects.
- Manage and maintain accurate sales data and reporting, including sales forecasts, pipeline management, and sales performance metrics.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activity to inform sales strategies and tactics.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent required; prior sales experience preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers and colleagues.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong focus on results and sales performance.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with experience in sales management tools and software a plus.
- Ability to travel up to 50-75% of the time, with occasional overnight stays.
