About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Human Resources Coordinator to join our team at Marksmen Construction. As a key member of our HR department, you will play a critical role in supporting the recruitment and onboarding process, as well as providing guidance and support to employees and management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Recruitment and Hiring: Coordinate the recruitment process, including job postings, candidate screening, and interview scheduling.
  • Employee Onboarding: Develop and implement a comprehensive onboarding program to ensure a smooth transition for new employees.
  • HR Administration: Provide administrative support to the HR department, including maintaining employee records, processing benefits, and coordinating training programs.
  • Employee Engagement: Develop and implement initiatives to enhance employee engagement and retention, including recognition programs and employee feedback mechanisms.
  • Performance Management: Assist with performance management processes, including goal setting, performance evaluations, and career development planning.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with all relevant employment laws and regulations, and identify and mitigate potential risks to the organization.
Requirements
  • Education: College/CEGEP degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in human resources, recruitment, or a related field.
  • Work Setting: Various locations, with a focus on supporting a dynamic and growing construction company.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 30 hours per week.
