- Valid registration in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification approved by Heart & Stroke at the time of hire
- Recent experience in acute medical settings.
- Advanced skills in RPN and patient assessment, including aseptic techniques, N/G tube insertion, suctioning, and airway management.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
- A caring and compassionate approach towards patients and their families.
- Positive team player with a constructive attitude.
- Evidence of ongoing professional development.
- Physically capable of performing job duties, including heavy lifting and strenuous physical activity.
- A satisfactory record of employment and attendance.
The ideal candidate excels in patient-centered care within a fast-paced, evolving environment and is prepared to lead change and innovation. Strong communication skills with a clear focus on patient needs, along with the ability to manage tasks effectively and promote teamwork, are essential.
Additional Information
Work Schedule: Rotating 12-hour shifts, Monday to Sunday; subject to change based on operational needs.
Compensation: Competitive hourly wage.
