We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our team at Verace Italian Restaurant. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for assisting the Executive Chef in the preparation and presentation of our menu items.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Development: Collaborate with the Executive Chef to create new and innovative menu items that showcase our Italian cuisine.
  • Culinary Leadership: Train and mentor junior staff members in preparation, cooking, and presentation techniques.
  • Kitchen Operations: Assist in the management of kitchen inventory, ordering, and scheduling.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that all menu items meet our high standards of quality and presentation.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with other members of the culinary team to ensure seamless service and high-quality food.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Work Setting: Restaurant environment with fast-paced and dynamic conditions.
  • Physical Capabilities: Ability to stand for extended periods, work under pressure, and perform repetitive tasks.
  • Personal Suitability: Dependability, flexibility, organization, reliability, and a team player attitude.
