About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Recruitment Officer to join our team at Richmond Staffing Inc. as a key member of our Human Resources department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Staffing Planning: Collaborate with management to identify current and prospective staffing requirements, ensuring a seamless recruitment process.
  • Job Posting and Advertising: Prepare and post job notices and advertisements to attract top talent, utilizing various channels to reach a wide audience.
  • Applicant Screening: Collect and screen applicants, evaluating their qualifications and experience to ensure the best fit for our organization.
  • Employment Requirements and Terms: Advise job applicants on employment requirements, terms, and conditions, ensuring a clear understanding of our company's policies.
  • Interview Coordination: Contact potential applicants to arrange interviews, facilitating a smooth and efficient hiring process.
  • Graduate Recruitment: Recruit graduates from colleges, universities, and other educational institutions, tapping into a pool of talented and motivated individuals.
  • Selection and Examination Boards: Co-ordinate and participate in selection and examination boards to evaluate candidates, ensuring fairness and objectivity.
  • Notification and Job Offers: Notify applicants of the results of the selection process and prepare job offers, keeping candidates informed throughout the hiring process.
  • Staffing Policies and Procedures: Advise managers and employees on staffing policies and procedures, ensuring compliance and adherence to company guidelines.
  • Staff Consultation and Grievance Procedures: Organize staff consultation and grievance procedures, providing a platform for employees to voice concerns and resolve issues.
  • Termination of Employment: Negotiate settlements of appeals and disputes, co-ordinating the termination of employment process in a fair and respectful manner.
Requirements
  • Computer and Technology Knowledge: Proficiency in human resources software, as well as Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word), and the internet.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with repetitive tasks, and a strong attention to detail.
  • Personal Suitability: Accurate, client-focused, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral and written communication, flexibility, judgement, organized, reliable, and a team player.
Work Environment

This is a permanent position, working 35 hours per week, with a focus on providing excellent service to our clients and candidates.

The successful candidate will be fluent in English and will have a strong understanding of the recruitment process, with the ability to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities.
