Job Title: Account Executive (AE), Middle Market

Job Summary:

  • As an Account Executive (AE), Middle Market, you will be responsible for underwriting and negotiating customer accounts to minimize risk and maximize profitability.
  • You will develop relationships with internal and external partners to create sales plans and identify cross-selling opportunities.
  • You will identify and capture new business opportunities using sales skills and effectively develop and execute sales plans to ensure retention and new business targets are met.
  • You will perform other duties as assigned, including analyzing financial data and making informed decisions to drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Underwrite and negotiate customer accounts to minimize risk and maximize profitability.
  • Develop relationships with internal and external partners to create sales plans and identify cross-selling opportunities.
  • Identify and capture new business opportunities using sales skills.
  • Effectively develop and execute sales plans to ensure retention and new business targets are met.
  • Perform other duties as assigned, including analyzing financial data and making informed decisions to drive business growth.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as business, finance, or insurance.
  • Three to five years of experience in insurance or underwriting, with a strong understanding of financial markets and risk management.
  • Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP) designation or equivalent experience.
  • Strong financial acumen and critical thinking skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and make informed decisions.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with internal and external partners.
