Job Title: Survey Crew Chief

We are seeking an experienced Survey Crew Chief to join our team at Parsons Corporation. As a key member of our Critical Infrastructure team, you will be responsible for conducting construction layout and engineering survey services for various projects.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct topographic surveys, engineering surveys, and as-built surveys to ensure accurate data collection and documentation.
  • Oversee the setup and operation of survey equipment, including robotic total stations and GPS technology.
  • Collaborate with project managers and engineers to ensure survey data meets project requirements and specifications.
  • Develop and implement quality control procedures to ensure accurate and reliable survey data.
  • Provide training and guidance to junior surveyors and technicians to ensure they meet company standards and expectations.
Requirements:
  • 8 years of experience in surveying, with a minimum of 2 years in construction surveying.
  • Experience with operating robotic total stations, GPS technology, and other data collection equipment.
  • Strong knowledge of survey principles, methods, and techniques.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Valid Class 5 driver's license and a clean driving record.
