We're currently seeking an experienced Oilfield Survey Crew Chief to join our team in Edmonton or Northern Alberta.
The Role:- Lead a team of survey assistants in conducting field surveys for wellsites, pipeline right-of-ways, pipeline integrity, and construction projects across Western Canada.
- Travel as required, with shift work potentially lasting up to 21 days.
- Work outdoors in various weather conditions and seasons.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and provide guidance and mentorship to team members.
- Prepare accurate and concise field notes, records, and calculations.
- Strong focus on building relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Commitment to excellence in all aspects of work.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to effectively liaise with clients.
- Creativity and problem-solving skills.
- Degree or diploma in Geomatics from a technical college.
- Experience leading an oilfield survey crew and performing legal surveys in the Alberta Township System.
- Experience working on industrial construction sites and in remote bush conditions.
- Experience with drones is an asset.
