Key Responsibilities- Lead and coordinate the activities of workers to execute the production plan
- Ensure efficient operation of processing machines and maintain inventory
- Troubleshoot production issues as required
- Plan the efficient use of the smokehouse
- Collect data and compile reports
- Ensure efficient operation of equipment (KPIs)
- Conduct daily huddle meetings
- Test and develop products and processes
- Lead team's personal development plans
- High school diploma or equivalent (required); diploma in Meat Processing or related field of study (preferred) and/or equivalent on-the-job experience
- 3-6 years of previous experience in a food processing and/or manufacturing facility
- 3-6 years of equipment operation experience
- Ability to set up and operate processing equipment: Sausage Stuffer, Industrial Grinder, Vemeg, Brine Injector, Cutter, Mixer, Tumbler, Brine Mixer, and Smoker
- Knowledge of meat formulation
- Documentation of personal actions related to recipe record formulation and supervision of other team members involved in this process
- Ability to understand and participate in KPI recording/data input
- Effective interdepartmental and immediate team communication
