About the Role

BC Transit is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Application Analyst to join our Enterprise Application team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing technical support for business-critical applications and systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out software development lifecycles, patching, debugging, and feature enhancement
  • Provide tier-2 technical support for business-critical applications
  • Produce, maintain, and enhance Ad-hoc reports using PowerBI, BI Publisher, and SQL reports
  • Maintain and enhance product support documentation library
  • Assist in delivering change requests by working with the Supervisor and Senior Application Analysts in user requirement analysis and solution design
Requirements
  • Experience working with enterprise HR, Payroll, Finance, or other business-critical applications
  • Experience supporting business-critical applications using Cloud technologies such as Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform, and Amazon Web Services
  • Experience developing and supporting SQL reports
  • Demonstrated experience and discretion in the management of confidential employee and corporate information and systems
  • Experience with supporting and implementing solutions using Power App platforms
  • Experience creating and updating knowledge base articles, end-user documentation, and technical guidelines
  • Experience with Business Intelligence tools such as Power BI, Oracle Discoverer, Crystal Reports, JD Edwards Report Writer, and Hubble
