About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Site Supervisor to join our team at Crosswood Construction. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities on our construction sites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Management: Coordinate and schedule activities to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Site Supervision: Supervise and manage a team of workers, ensuring they have the necessary resources and support to complete tasks efficiently.
  • Reporting and Administration: Prepare and submit regular reports to management, including production reports, safety reports, and other relevant documentation.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure that all health and safety regulations are followed, and that the work site is maintained in a safe and healthy condition.
  • Training and Development: Oversee the training and development of apprentices and other team members, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Recruitment and Staffing: Recruit and hire new staff members, and manage the staffing process to ensure the right people are in the right roles.
  • Equipment and Materials: Requisition and order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed, and ensure that all equipment is properly maintained and serviced.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with team members, management, and other stakeholders to ensure that everyone is informed and aligned with project goals and objectives.
Work Environment

As a Construction Site Supervisor with Crosswood Construction, you will work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a team of experienced professionals. You will be responsible for managing multiple projects simultaneously, and will need to be able to prioritize tasks, manage your time effectively, and make sound decisions under pressure.

Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 35 to 40 hours per week.
