Technology Integration Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Systems Designer to join our team at Houle Electric Limited. As a key member of our Subject Matter Expert team, you will be responsible for designing, installing, and maintaining various electronic systems, including security and healthcare technologies.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement electronic systems, including security and healthcare technologies, for large-scale projects.
- Collaborate with project managers and team members to ensure successful project delivery.
- Provide technical expertise and mentorship to junior team members.
- Conduct site inspections and provide accurate estimates for equipment and time requirements.
- Maintain accurate system documentation and as-builts.
- Train end-users on system operations.
- Develop and implement solutions to resolve interfacing or intercommunication problems between disparate systems.
- Commission and configure hardware and software for deployment/installation.
- Create and provide internal technical training resources and sessions.
Your Qualifications
- Recognized training in security and healthcare systems, including access control, CCTV, and intrusion detection.
- Familiarity with security and healthcare platforms, including Genetec, Kantech, Lenel, Milestone, Ascom Telligence, GuardRFID, or Sonitor.
- Minimum 5-7 years of experience in a similar role, with strong technical expertise in related systems.
- Experience in large design build projects, including hospitals.
- Experience with integration and middleware engines in the security and healthcare product space.
- Familiarity with SNMP, BACNET IP, MODBUS, and other platform-agnostic messaging protocols.
- Knowledge of programming languages, including C#, Python, and T-SQL.
- Knowledge of web-based technologies, protocols, and languages, including API, REST, SOAP, HTTP/HTTPS, ISS, Web servers, JSON, XML, and SQL.
