Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Business Development Leader to join our team as a Market Sector Growth Expert. This role will focus on driving growth and expansion in the rail and transit market sector, leveraging our global expertise and talent to deliver innovative and integrated transportation solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and Execute Market Strategies

Develop and execute market strategies to expand our presence in the transit market and connect with new clients to build on our regional success in program, project, and construction management of large capital projects.

Expand Rail and Multi-Modal Transit Services

Expand Rail and Multi-Modal Transit services with existing clients by leveraging our global expertise and talent across all areas of capital project planning, design, and delivery as well as professional consulting in support of asset management, and transition to fleet electrification.

Client-Centric Approach

Focus on a client-centric approach by engaging with clients directly and providing key understanding of their needs at all levels, building and maintaining strong relationships with key clients, stakeholders, and industry partners, supporting teams to tailor solutions that best support our clients, delivering sustainable solutions that exceed client expectations, encouraging adaptation and application of innovative solutions, and ensuring high client satisfaction and repeat business.

Lead and Support Key Account Managers

Lead and support key account managers for our transit clients in Canada.

Market Intelligence and Decision-Making

Use market intelligence to inform decision-making and develop strategies for maintaining a competitive edge.

Requirements

  • Education and Experience

Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, systems engineering, transportation planning, business, or a related field.

Leadership Experience

Proven experience (20+ years) in a leadership role within the rail and multimodal transit sector.

Business Development Skills

Strong business development skills and a track record of successfully winning and managing projects.

Industry Knowledge

In-depth knowledge of rail, transit, and multimodal transportation planning, design, and construction.

Client Understanding

Significant experience in understanding transit agency needs in delivering passenger rail, rail transit, and high-capacity bus transit projects.
