Job Title: Buyer Supply Chain Management Professional

Job Summary:

Partner Staffing is seeking an experienced and dynamic Buyer Supply Chain Management Professional to join our team on a contractor basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, analyzing, negotiating, and administering services or materials purchase orders and contracts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the competitive bid process for materials and services, including developing competitive bid documents and managing the bid process.
  • Create, negotiate, and manage contracts.
  • Manage contract changes, amendments, and dispute resolutions.
  • Create and manage purchase orders and ensure that commitments are met and issues are resolved.
  • Participate in the development of sourcing strategies.
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives.

Requirements:

  • University degree or College diploma in Business, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or other related discipline.
  • Supply Chain Management Professional (SCMP) or equivalent Certified Supply Chain Leader (CSCL) is preferred; or working towards an SCMP or CSCL designation.
  • Minimum of 5 years related experience is required; 7 or more years is preferred.
  • Proven ability/experience in the above-noted responsibilities.
  • Understanding of legal terms and conditions.
  • Strong computer skills, including experience with SAP and Oracle.
  • Strong negotiation and decision-making skills.
  • Strong interpersonal communication and presentation skills.
  • Results-oriented with the ability to manage multiple complex tasks at the same time.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
