Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and driven individual to join our team as a Business Development Associate. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying and qualifying sales targets, nurturing leads, and assisting in the M&A pipeline process.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and qualify sales targets through research and outreach efforts
- Nurture leads by building relationships with owners of software businesses and articulating Volaris' unique value proposition
- Assist in the M&A pipeline process by developing tailored messaging and coordinating appointments
- Respond to inbound leads and conduct research to identify attractive markets and software companies to acquire
- Demonstrate creativity, persistence, and credibility in reaching out to Owners, Operators, and C-Suite leadership
Requirements
- Excellent academic performance in an undergraduate business degree
- 2+ years of experience in a business development/lead generation role, ideally in a B2B environment
- Ability to manage a pipeline of leads and exceed prospecting target quotas
- Strong communication skills with confidence in presenting to C-suite executives and business owners
- Experience working in M&A, software, or technology is considered an asset
- Familiarity with Salesforce is an asset
- Multilingual an asset
