As part of an insurance company, you will play a crucial role in maintaining our IT operations.
Key Responsibilities- Administer and troubleshoot local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), and computer workstations.
- Evaluate and install necessary hardware and software.
- Provide support and problem-solving assistance to network users.
- Implement security protocols for data, software, and hardware.
- Conduct routine network operations and maintain control records.
- Perform data backups and manage disaster recovery processes.
- Set up local area networks and internet connections.
- Utilize network monitoring software to optimize server performance.
- Modify and maintain web pages, applets, and scripts.
- Research and apply meta-data for website optimization.
- Assist website visitors and designers with inquiries.
- Oversee web server backup and recovery tasks.
- Supervise technical staff as needed.
- Proficient in JavaOS, networking software, and security protocols.
- Experience with extranet, internet, and server management.
- Familiarity with desktop applications and multimedia software.
- Knowledge of programming languages and software development.
- Competent in HTML editing and web service design.
- Experience with database software and data visualization tools.
- Detail-oriented and accurate.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Organized and a team player.
Minimum of 2 years to less than 3 years in a related field.
