Job Title: Senior Systems Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Systems Analyst to join our team at TECO Energy Inc. This is a challenging role that requires a strong technical background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead complex software development projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Develop and implement software specifications, working closely with Business Systems Analysts and Business Partners.
  • Mentor and direct junior staff, providing guidance and support to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Manage and oversee junior staff in the production of deliverables, ensuring timely completion and high-quality results.
  • Participate in the selection and implementation of software packages, requiring in-depth configuration and integration.
Requirements:
  • 10 years of experience in systems analysis, design, and development.
  • Expert knowledge of business software applications and hardware technologies.
  • Strong understanding of IT industry trends and emerging technologies.
  • Ability to develop project plans for small projects and partner with Project Managers to develop plans for large projects.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
