Job Title: Landscape Worker

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Landscape Worker to join our team at RTJ Landscaping. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining the beauty and functionality of our outdoor spaces.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will have a strong work ethic and be able to work independently with minimal supervision. You will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including:

  • Assisting with landscape constructions
  • Tying and securing plants
  • Weeding, pruning, and trimming trees and plants
  • Cutting grass
  • Raking and collecting refuse
  • Removing litter and garbage
  • Carting and spreading topsoil and other materials
  • Laying sod or seed
  • Planting bulbs, flowers, shrubs, and trees
  • Applying fertilizers
  • Watering and tending to plants, lawns, and/or gardens
  • Operating and maintaining landscape maintenance equipment
  • Tree removal
Work Environment

As a Landscape Worker, you will be working outdoors in a variety of environments, including hotels, motels, resorts, golf courses, sports fields, urban and rural areas, and private residences. You will be exposed to wet/damp, noisy, odorous, dusty, and hot conditions.

Language and Work Term

We are looking for candidates who are fluent in English or French and are legally able to work in Canada. This is a permanent position, working 32 hours per week.
