Job Title: Landscape Worker

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Landscape Worker to join our team at RTJ Landscaping. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining the beauty and functionality of our outdoor spaces.

Work Environment

As a Landscape Worker, you will work outdoors in various locations, including hotels, motels, resorts, golf courses, sports fields, and private residences. You will be exposed to wet/damp, noisy, and dusty conditions, as well as hot temperatures.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with landscape constructions, including planting bulbs, flowers, shrubs, and trees.
  • Tie and secure plants, and weed, prune, and trim trees and plants.
  • Cut grass, rake, and collect refuse, and remove litter and garbage.
  • Cart and spread topsoil and other materials, and lay sod or seed.
  • Operate and maintain landscape maintenance equipment, including tree removal.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: Will train.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with repetitive tasks and handling heavy loads.
  • Physically demanding, with a combination of sitting, standing, walking, bending, crouching, and kneeling.
  • Dependability, reliability, team player, punctuality, and hardworking attitude.
Language and Work Term
  • Language: English or French.
  • Work Term: Permanent.
  • Hours: 32 hours per week.
