Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Advanced Care Paramedic to join our team at HSE Integrated Ltd. as a key member of our Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) division.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide onsite emergency medical services within an industrial environment, responding to both urgent and non-urgent medical needs.
  • Conduct medical standby in the field, including drilling rigs, service rigs, and pipeline jobs.
  • Respond to emergency calls 24/7, providing medical assistance at accidents, emergencies, and other related incidents.
  • Assess patients and determine the best course of treatment, including transportation to a medical facility.
  • Administer medical care, including splinting, wound dressing, pain relief, oxygen, drips, and fluids.
  • Operate technical equipment, such as CPAP, AED, and ECG, to resuscitate and stabilize patients.
  • Liaise with other emergency services, including police, fire, and ambulance services, to ensure an appropriate response.
  • Drive an Emergency Transport Vehicle or other rapid response vehicle.
  • Maintain vehicles, clinics, and equipment to ensure operational readiness.
  • Assess patient conditions at clinic locations and maintain medical documentation.
  • Attend daily safety meetings and participate in team discussions.

Requirements

  • Active registration with the Alberta College of Paramedics.
  • H2S Alive and CSO (Common Safety Orientation) certifications.
  • Class 4 or 5 (or equivalent) Driver's License.
