Inventory Coordinator

Job Summary
The Inventory Coordinator will play a crucial role in supporting the inventory alignment and pick line integrity for the operation at Schenker of Canada Limited. This position is responsible for maintaining inventory setup and item accuracy, ensuring seamless warehouse operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Physically relocate pallets from layer and loose case locations to assign to new items.
- Daily assign items to loose case or layer locations in the warehouse management system.
- Verify weights, measurements, and pallet configuration information on materials with discrepancies.
- Maintain tracking records for materials with pallet configuration issues.
- Act as a liaison between Schenker of Canada Limited and Maple Leaf on inventory discrepancies.
- Maintain item accuracy in the warehouse management system.
- Run the ABC Item classification report monthly to update the warehouse management system.
- Conduct weekly inventory counts on warehouse supplies.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
- MHE certification - Reach
- Strong computer skills and proficiency in MS Office, specifically Excel
- Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
- Excellent accuracy and organization skills, complemented by the ability to multitask and prioritize
- Work effectively as a team player
- Excellent knowledge of the overall warehousing process
