Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced HR Business Partner to join our team at Accoravillage. As a key member of our Human Resources department, you will play a critical role in supporting our business leaders and teams to achieve their goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Partnership: Collaborate with business leaders to define needs, provide input to the development of people strategies, and deliver high-level People & Culture services.
  • HR Advisory: Provide coaching and counsel to leaders on HR solutions that contribute to business unit goals, ensuring compliance with policies, Employment Standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Performance Management: Support leaders on performance and attendance management, partnering to develop success plans for team members.
  • Investigations: Lead investigations regarding concerns brought forward, following equitable processes.
  • Continuous Improvement: Foster a continuous improvement mindset, identifying opportunities to increase return on investment of people programs and improve the employee experience.
  • Staying Current: Maintain awareness of emerging trends and best practices in HR, liaising with HR peers to ensure policies and procedures stay current and market competitive.
Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum of 4-6 years of relevant and progressive experience as an HR Business Partner, with a strong understanding of all HR functions.
  • Education: Completion of an HR Management degree/diploma.
  • Certification: Certified Professional Human Resources (CPHR) designation or equivalent is an asset.
  • Skills: Strong relationship-building skills, ability to collaborate with multiple departments and department heads, influence business and HR colleagues, and think long-term.
