Job Overview

The Engagement Manager will play a pivotal role in driving the sales of IT Staffing and Consulting Services within their designated region, reporting directly to the Director of Services Sales. This position focuses on executing growth-oriented sales strategies while fostering robust relationships with both existing and prospective clients. A comprehensive understanding of the IT staffing sector is essential, along with a strong desire to advance within this field. Daily collaboration with recruitment teams, resource managers, and enterprise sales will be crucial for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Negotiate new client agreements, renewals, extensions, and modifications.
  2. Identify sales prospects and consultatively offer solutions and services to both new and existing clients.
  3. Collaborate with clients to outline strategic goals and staffing requirements.
  4. Formulate client-specific strategies aimed at meeting revenue, gross profit, and other financial objectives.
  5. Conduct regular site visits and sales meetings with clients.
  6. Establish and nurture effective relationships with key client stakeholders.
  7. Engage in Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) for the customer base, which includes evaluating delivery performance and preparing necessary presentations and documentation.
  8. Stay informed about leading industry trends and sales best practices.
  9. Develop and maintain expertise in industry trends, market activities, and competitor strategies.
  10. Build and sustain a network of industry contacts through participation in professional associations and networking organizations.
  11. Assist in formulating sales, pricing, and marketing strategies.
  12. Evaluate the effectiveness of strategies and recommend improvements and best practices.
  13. Participate in special projects and perform additional duties as assigned.
  14. Monitor and report on performance against assigned regional services budgets.
  15. Generate, analyze, and communicate relevant reports to key stakeholders as required.
  16. Identify and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives for client and delivery teams.
  17. Collaborate with Enterprise Account Executives and Sales Management to achieve regional service goals.

Qualifications

  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

Experience

  • 7-10 years of relevant experience.

Skills and Abilities

  • 5-7 years of experience in IT staffing or recruitment within the Information Technology sector.
  • Proven experience in selling IT staff augmentation services and negotiating client rates, ideally within an IT agency context.
  • Demonstrated track record of meeting or surpassing revenue, gross profit, and placement targets.
  • Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships.
  • Capacity to adapt swiftly to changes in the business landscape.
  • Focus on client needs with a commitment to quality and customer service.
  • Proficient in prioritizing, organizing, and managing multiple tasks while meeting deadlines.
  • Ability to identify and resolve issues through innovative solutions.
  • Demonstrated business acumen and market insight.
  • Familiarity with current sales trends, best practices, and methodologies in staffing and workforce solutions.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Experience with applicant tracking systems.
  • Willingness to travel to client locations within the designated territory.

Work Environment

This role can be performed remotely or in an office setting.
