Job Title: Technical Support Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Support Specialist to join our team at THE ORTHODONTIC CENTRE AT NORTHLAND. As a Technical Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support to our users, ensuring they have the necessary tools and resources to perform their jobs efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical assistance and support to users, responding to identified difficulties and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Collect, organize, and maintain a problems and solutions log for use by other technical support analysts.
  • Provide business systems, network, and Internet support to users, ensuring they have access to the necessary tools and resources.
  • Set up equipment for employee use, performing or ensuring proper installation of cables, operating systems, or appropriate software.
  • Perform Web-server backup and recovery operations, ensuring data integrity and availability.
Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a technical support role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with users at all levels.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex technical issues and develop effective solutions.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working in a healthcare or dental environment.
  • Knowledge of business systems, networks, and Internet protocols.
  • Ability to work in a team environment, with a focus on customer satisfaction.
