Job Title: Financial Institutions Examiner

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Institutions Examiner to join our team at Velocity Trade Capital Ltd. As a Financial Institutions Examiner, you will be responsible for ensuring that financial services and institutions comply with governing legislation and regulation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough examinations of financial services and institutions to ensure compliance with governing legislation and regulation.
  • Identify and assess potential risks and vulnerabilities in financial services and institutions.
  • Develop and implement strategies to mitigate risks and improve compliance.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure effective implementation of compliance measures.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in legislation and regulation to ensure ongoing compliance.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as finance, accounting, or business.
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field, such as financial services or regulatory compliance.
  • Canadian Securities Course (CSC) certification.
  • Conduct and Practices Handbook course certification.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
