Job Summary

The City of Cornwall is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Client Services Clerk to join our team. As a key member of the Client Services Team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional support to our clients and ensuring the smooth operation of our tenant portfolios.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Support
    • Provide timely and effective support to clients via phone and in-person inquiries
    • Assist clients with move-out notices, process move-outs, and offer units
  • Tenant Data Management
    • Enter tenant information into our database
    • Prepare leases for signature and lease packages
    • Complete annual review packages, review documentation, and update information in our database
  • Administrative Tasks
    • Prepare letters and notices to tenants
    • Scan letters, documents, and notices into our database
    • Complete annual rent increases
  • Regulatory Compliance
    • Understand the Residential Tenancy Act to ensure requirements are met for the preparation of leases, notices of rent increases, and notices to vacate
Requirements
  • Completion of a two-year college program in administration, business, or a related discipline
  • Two years of work-related experience in a similar position
  • Able to communicate effectively in English and in French, both orally and in writing
  • Knowledge and experience of general office procedures and documentation
  • Ability to manage workload independently while working in a collaborative team atmosphere
