Microsoft Solutions Analyst – Product Strategy Focus

As a Microsoft Solutions Analyst at Avanade X, you will be instrumental in aligning business objectives with technological innovations, ensuring a product-oriented approach that meets both current and future client demands. This position involves close collaboration with diverse teams, stakeholders, and clients to articulate requirements, assess processes, and facilitate successful project implementations.

Key Skills and Competencies:
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies, including Lean, Agile, and Scrum
  • Proficient in using ADO, JIRA, and similar tools
  • Exceptional attention to detail with strong task prioritization abilities
  • Commitment to defining and delivering measurable business outcomes
  • Ability to clearly communicate and rationalize project decisions
  • Skilled in building trusted, long-term relationships with clients and colleagues
  • Experience with technologies such as Power Platform (Power Apps, Canvas Apps, Power Automate, Power BI), D365 (CRM and ERP), and Sitecore (CMS) is advantageous

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Design Thinking Practitioner
  • Professional Scrum Certification
  • Professional Scrum Product Owner Certification
  • Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Fundamentals
  • Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Fundamentals
  • Sitecore Certified: Experience Platform v. 10+
  • Sitecore Certified: XM Cloud

Experience & Education:
  • Degree or diploma in business, technology, digital product strategy, or related fields
  • Intermediate experience as a Business Analyst, Product Owner, or in a similar role with a track record of delivering new products or features
  • Experience in sectors such as financial services, public sector, and utilities is a plus
  • Bilingual proficiency in French and English is beneficial

Key Responsibilities:
  • Requirements Gathering and Analysis: Elicit, document, and analyze business requirements from stakeholders. Translate business needs into functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria while maintaining the product backlog. Minimize scope changes due to overlooked requirements.
  • Solution Design: Collaborate with designers, developers, and architects to create solutions, detailing user flows and mock-ups to visualize requirements. Enhance user and client satisfaction.
  • Project Management: Assist in project planning, scope definition, and resource allocation. Monitor project progress to ensure timely delivery, adhering to schedules and deadlines. Participate in agile ceremonies and daily scrums.
  • Quality Assurance: Validate deliverables against requirements and conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
