Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Residential Construction Supervisor to oversee various projects at SHIVRAJ GHUMAN CONSTRUCTION INC.. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management and a commitment to ensuring high-quality standards.

Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of a college, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program lasting 3 months to less than 1 year, or equivalent experience.
  • Languages: Proficiency in Hindi and Panjabi; Punjabi is considered an asset.
Work Environment
  • Work is primarily conducted outdoors.
  • Ability to work in a noisy environment.
Work Setting
  • Involvement in construction, repair, renovation, and residential projects.
  • Experience in manufacturing or production is beneficial.
Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare detailed production and other reports.
  • Supervise and manage workers and project timelines.
  • Coordinate and schedule various activities effectively.
  • Recruit, hire, and manage staffing requirements.
  • Facilitate training sessions or arrange for necessary training.
  • Estimate project costs and required materials.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Establish efficient methods to meet work schedules.
Supervisory Responsibilities
  • Oversee a team of 5-10 laborers.
Security and Safety
  • Completion of a criminal record check is required.
Work Conditions
