Job Title: Residential Construction Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Residential Construction Supervisor to join our team at Shivraj Ghuman Construction Inc.

Job Summary:

The Residential Construction Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the construction process, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of construction teams, including labourers, carpenters, and other tradespeople.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, and maintain a safe working environment.
  • Coordinate and schedule activities, including material delivery, equipment rental, and subcontractor management.
  • Estimate costs and materials, and manage project budgets.
  • Recruit and hire workers, and conduct related staffing actions.
  • Train or arrange for training, and ensure workers have the necessary skills and knowledge.
  • Establish methods to meet work schedules, and ensure projects are completed on time.
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience in residential construction, preferably in a supervisory role.
  • College diploma or equivalent experience.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure, and manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Fluency in English, and proficiency in Hindi and Punjabi.
Work Environment:

The Residential Construction Supervisor will work outdoors, in a noisy construction environment, and will be required to work at heights and in confined spaces.

Security and Safety:

A criminal record check will be required for this position.

  • Accurate and reliable.

  • Efficient interpersonal skills.
  • Flexibility and adaptability.
  • Organized and able to prioritize tasks.
Language:

The primary language of work is English, with proficiency in Hindi and Punjabi.

Work Schedule:

40 hours per week, with occasional overtime required.
