Ashoka Indian Cuisine Server Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and friendly server to join our team at Ashoka Indian Cuisine. As a server, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, ensuring a positive dining experience for our guests, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Present bills to customers and accept payment in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Describe menu items, including daily specials, to customers and make recommendations based on their preferences.
  • Clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs to maintain a clean and organized dining area.
  • Greet patrons, present menus, and answer questions regarding food and beverages.
  • Order and maintain inventory of wines and wine glassware to ensure a well-stocked bar.
  • Serve food and beverages to customers in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Take orders and relay them to the kitchen and bar staff to ensure accurate and timely preparation.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to ensure a positive dining experience.
Requirements:
  • Experience in a food service environment is an asset.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a positive attitude under pressure.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to provide exceptional customer service.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve goals and objectives.
